I use Drupal to share information in a variety of forms without the arbitrary size constraints of conventional hosting providers such as flickr. 

• images with annotations using file upload and image Annotate (and lots of bug fixing)
• video from popular hosting providers using embedded media module
• videos I host using swftools
• syntax-colored programming language source code
• academic papers using the biblio module
• links using weblink
• Rich media, spell checked blogs using tinymce and input filters
• Sounds using swtools
• Book info for reviews
• Product info for reviews using Amazon store
• ambient findability tools with uploads to twitter etc.
• Guitar Chords  for "Chord of the Day" with guitar chord module

Note that I don't use Image, Video, or Sound modules: they have been in beta for so long it is a bad joke. Also the basic idea is flawed. I use drupal to contextualize these media so CCK and designing my own nodes is much more effective.
